Three steps. No tech degree. A plumber set it up in 20 minutes — you can too.
📱
You add the customer's number
After completing a job, type the customer's mobile number into your ZovKu dashboard. Takes 10 seconds. Or connect your booking software to do it automatically.

✉️
ZovKu sends the SMS
Your customer gets a friendly text from your business name. They tap their star rating on a simple mobile page — no app download, no account required.
→
🛡️
Happy → Google. Unhappy → you.
4–5 stars? They get a direct link to your Google listing. 1–3 stars? They see a private feedback form — and you get an email so you can sort it before it becomes a problem.
Grow your Google rating
Your competitors have more reviews. Not because they're better — because they ask.
Happy customers say nothing. Unhappy ones write novels on Google. ZovKu fixes the imbalance by automatically prompting every satisfied customer — right when the job is fresh in their mind.
💬
"We went from 23 reviews to 89 in three months." Mike's Plumbing went from 3.8 stars to 4.9 in 90 days — not by doing better work, but by finally asking for feedback every time.

Intercept bad reviews
One bad Google review can sit at the top for years. Most of them are avoidable.
The routing happens on our servers — not in the browser. Unhappy customers (1–3 stars) never see your Google link. They see a private feedback form instead. You get an email. You fix it. They move on.

"Had an unhappy client, ZovKu caught it." Sarah from Restore Physio rang the client back, sorted it out, and they came back and left a 5-star review instead. That's the whole product right there.

Built for NZ compliance
Every SMS is legally compliant by default. You don't have to think about it.
NZ's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 requires every marketing SMS to include sender identification and a working opt-out. ZovKu handles all of that automatically — sender name, STOP keyword handling, 30-day cooldowns, hashed opt-out storage.
⚖️
STOP is permanent. Cooldowns are enforced. Opt-outs are hashed. We built this for NZ businesses, not US ones. No other review tool in this price range has done this work.

FAQ
Good questions
Every question below is a doubt worth removing. If yours isn't here, email us.
Is sending review request texts actually legal in New Zealand?
+
Yes — and ZovKu is built specifically for NZ legal compliance. The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 requires every commercial SMS to include sender identification and a functional opt-out. ZovKu includes both in every message. We also enforce a 30-day cooldown per customer per business, store opt-out numbers as SHA-256 hashes (never raw), and process STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE replies immediately. Opt-outs are permanent and you cannot override them.
Can an unhappy customer still go straight to Google themselves?
+
Yes — we can't stop a determined person from visiting Google directly. What ZovKu does is make sure unhappy customers never receive a Google link through our platform. Our routing happens server-side, so a 1–3 star customer sees a private feedback form, not a Google link. In practice, most unhappy customers who feel heard don't bother going to Google separately.
How does it connect to my existing systems (Jobber, ServiceM8, Square)?
+
The Growth plan includes API access and a Zapier integration, so you can trigger review requests automatically from Jobber, ServiceM8, Square, Lightspeed, or any tool that supports webhooks. On Starter, you add customer numbers manually through the dashboard — which takes about 10 seconds per customer.
What if a customer doesn't respond to the first SMS?
+
ZovKu automatically sends one polite follow-up SMS if the customer doesn't open the link within a set timeframe. That's the maximum — we never send more than two messages per review request. The 30-day cooldown means we'll never contact the same customer again within that window.
What happens at the end of the 14-day free trial?
+
You'll be prompted to pick a plan and enter your card details. No card is collected during the trial — you won't be auto-charged. If you don't subscribe, your account is paused and your data is kept safely for 30 days.
Is there a lock-in contract?
+
No annual contracts. Ever. ZovKu is month-to-month. Cancel in three clicks from your account settings. No need to call anyone, send an email, or convince a retention team.
Where is my customer data stored?
+
All data is stored in ap-southeast-2 (Sydney, Australia), consistent with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Customer phone numbers are AES-256 encrypted at rest. We never sell customer data or share it with third parties.
I'm a café — can I do a bulk send after a busy weekend?
+
Yes — the Growth plan includes bulk SMS sends for high-volume businesses like cafés and restaurants. Upload a CSV of customers from the weekend, and ZovKu sends personalised review requests to each. The 30-day deduplication check runs automatically to prevent any customer being messaged twice.
